Our prefit bolt-action barrels feature tenons threaded in 1.0625x20TPI (1 1/16-20, Savage small shank) and are engineered for use with Remington 700–pattern actions that are specifically designed to guarantee headspace with prefit barrels.

Important Compatibility Notes

While other manufacturers may offer actions with the same thread specification, thread pitch alone does not determine compatibility. Factors such as bolt design, feed ramp geometry, and headspace standards can affect proper fit and function.

For this reason, compatibility with other Remington 700–pattern actions cannot be guaranteed, even if they share the same 1.0625x20 thread.
