Our barrel blanks are made from premium 416R stainless steel and are engineered using advanced machining processes to deliver exceptional consistency, accuracy, potential, and long-term reliability.
Each blank is button rifled, double heat-treated to relieve internal stress, and machine-lapped to ensure a uniform, consistent bore from end to end. These processes create an ideal foundation for gunsmiths and serious shooters looking to build a truly custom bolt-action rifle.
Ballistic Advantage barrel blanks are designed to be threaded and chambered by a qualified gunsmith. They can be finished to standard or custom wildcat chambers, giving you the flexibility needed for specialized builds.
Note: Wildcat chambers do not follow standardized dimensions or pressure specifications. For this reason, accuracy, velocity, and projectile stability cannot be guaranteed when using custom wildcat chamberings.
